Chocolate, Boba, and Matcha Making Birthday Parties!

Looking for a fun, meaningful, and delicious way to celebrate? Whether you're planning a birthday party or a team-building event, our unique hands-on experiences bring people together in a way that’s both creative and restorative.

Artisanal Chocolate Birthday Party! (ages 5 - 12)

Each class begins with a breathing lesson so our chocolatiers are centered and focused. Learn to make artisanal chocolate from scratch using fresh organic cacao straight from the farms of Ecuador! We'll learn about chocolate making in this delicious hands on class.

Boba Tea Party! (ages 5 - 12)

In addition to our beloved chocolate-making events, we also offer Boba Tea Parties! Guests will learn how to make their own artisanal bubble tea drinks—choosing from a variety of teas, flavors, and toppings—and walk away with new skills (and their own custom drink in hand!).

Matcha Parties! (ages 5 - 12)

We are excited to introduce our NEW Matcha Parties! Participants will get to learn how to make their own matcha drinks and incorporate various flavoring of their choice, including: matcha with cold foam, matcha with strawberry, and matcha with mango. Enjoy this creative party experience and take home a delicious creation!

What’s Included: (2 hour long lesson for birthday child + birthday parents + 10 children)

A mindfulness lesson to help everyone slow down and savor the experience.
A hands-on chocolate-making, boba-making, OR matcha-making lesson led by a fun, experienced chef instructor.
Each participant makes their own box of handmade chocolates or custom bubble/matcha drinks to enjoy or share.
A community-building circle activity focused on appreciation and gratitude—full of warm and fuzzies and often ending in hugs!

FAQs

A full refund will be issued if the date of cancellation is 1 month prior to the party.
A partial (50%) refund will be issued if the date of cancellation is within 15 - 30 days of the paryt.
Any cancellations within 14 days of the party will not receive a refund.
We are a vegetarian cooking camp. If your child has other dietary restrictions, you can let us know during the registration process. We operate with a Food Allergy Management and Prevention Plan (FAMPP) in accordance with the CDC guidelines for managing food allergies in schools to keep participants safe.
Our menu is nut free. We offer nuts in smalI shakers during the chocolate making lesson to flavor their chocolate with. We will make sure your child stays away from these flavorings and can respond to the severity of the allergy in certain cases.
Due to safety and hygiene reasons, we do not allow outside food. However both the chocolate and boba making party have plenty of sugary sweets for the kids to consume and we ALWAYS sing happy birthday.
The proverbial cherry on top is that in lieu of open gifts, the chef instructor conducts an appreciation circle for the birthday child where all guests, including parents get to express a personality trait that they appreciate about the child. The circle frequently ends in hugs!
No problem, we hear you! Live Oak park is just a 3 minute walk from us. We’re happy to walk the kids over to the grassy area or one of their many picnic benches where you can celebrate for as long as you’d like and even invite parents!
We’ll even watch the kids for the last 15 minutes so you can go set up!
Up to 10 children can attend the party and parents can book extra slots for an additional fee.
Birthday party fees cover the birthday child, their parents or 2 caregivers, and up to 10 children.
Due to liability reasons, the party is a drop off party for parents of the birthday party guests. Parents can drop their children off and return 2 hours later for pick up.
We maintain rigorous safety standards in our culinary classroom. Every participant is taught kitchen hygiene and safety, including proper hand washing and food safety. Our culinary instructors monitor the safety and hygiene.
We are proud to host a stellar staff of culinary school graduates, credentialed school teachers, youth yoga and mindfulness instructors, and former chefs. All of our staff have received background checks and Food Safe and CPR certified.
