Yoga and Nature Based After School Program
At Bliss Belly Kitchen after school programming kids will practice breathing and yoga, spend time in nature, make a healthy snack, and get time to do homework and quiet reading.
Our site in North Berkeley is just next to Live Oak Park, where children can connect with nature while enjoying playtime and snacks.

Schedule and Pricing Options: Monday - Friday (Pick the days you want!)
1:25 - 6PM: $60/day
2:15 - 6PM: $55/day
3:15 - 6PM: $50/day
Discount for 5 days a week (See button for pricing)
Register for the month and we will automatically renew you for the next month, unless you indicate otherwise. Billing is on a 10 month basis with no class on holidays or BUSD off days.
3:45 - 4:30PM: Daily yoga and mindfulness lesson
4:45 - 5:30PM: Daily culinary lesson
Programming ends at 5:30. Children are welcome to stay until 6PM.
Shuttle service available from local elementary schools. Bliss Belly will pick up your child from your school and transport them to our site! Note: Shuttle service is $50/month for one day of pick up.

Our 2025-2026 program follows the BUSD academic calendar, from August 13, 2025 to June 4, 2026. Programs begin at either 1:25pm, 2:15pm, or 3:15PM depending on your child's school dismissal time, and end at 6:00pm. Wednesday early dismissal times will be accommodated regardless of schedule and do not count toward rate calculations.
Tuition is charged on a month to month basis, billed monthly. Parents can sign up for one, two, three, four or five days of aftercare.
Pick-up time is 6 PM SHARP. Late --after 6--will be charged a late fee.
Transportation
Walking School Bus
BAM- We are excited to offer pick up at BAM via a Walking School Bus. Our staff will pick up your child and walk them safely to our site.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is available! Bliss Belly Kitchen will transport your child from your school to our facility. Shuttle service is $50 per month for one day of pick up.
BUSD Busses are not available
We have asked BUSD transportation to be a part of their bus routes, but they are not taking anymore after school programs at this time. Therefore, all transport must be independently arranged.
We are offering full-day care for program participants (8 AM – 6 PM) on select BUSD days off (10/6, 10/31, 1/26, 2/13, 3/16, 5/15) at $185/day or $1000/annually.
Bliss Belly kitchen offers eco-conscious and soul conscious cooking classes utilizing farm fresh ingredients, yoga, and mindfulness to give children the best possible connection to themselves and to the land and source where their food comes from.
Learn to make simple, delicious, and nutritious meals. We use healthy locally sourced organic ingredients to teach children about the basic fundamentals of healthy cooking and eating. Participants learn to source, cook, and eat delicious recipes.
Whether it’s packing a lunch, making a snack, or helping to prepare a family meal, these students will be prepared to support busy family life challenges with a new found knowledge and empowerment around cooking and good food!

Can’t get your child to eat their vegetables? Research shows that children are more likely to eat a new or even a familiar food when they have been involved in the cooking process. That is our experience here at Bliss Belly Kitchen! We incorporate local, seasonal organic fruits and vegetables into every dish.
